What Is A Provider Profile?

A provider profile in Doctivity is the shared note area on a provider’s detail page where users can store helpful background information about that provider.

It’s meant for information your client team may want others to see, beyond the basic provider record details. For example, users might add:

relationship notes
preferences
background context
outreach reminders
other non-clinical reference information

It is separate from the provider’s standard fields like:

name
credential
specialty
NPI
location
organization
phone/email

On the provider detail page, users can add or edit Provider Profile information by clicking the pencil icon and EDIT in the Provider Profile card.
